I have it. That I cannot deny.
I can no longer postpone the fact that I'm going to die.
I have to hurry, have to leave my mark.
Before I must surrender to that everlasting dark
I don't want to be forgotten, don't want my name to be lost.
Even if I must succumb sooner as a cost.
Blood on my hand, so sanguine.
Now I know my friend has seen.
I throw him off, back onto the stair.
This isn't his world! Why should he care?!
The fact is I'll soon be gone.
I have to accomplish something before I say so long.
Those people give me that chance.
I can't leave them now! My work is in its last stance.
Now I see the truth at last.
I have to do something and do it fast.
I drag my friend to that last ship with care.
He can go home I'll send him up into the air.
I think I understand, at last I see.
Maybe being remembered by those I knew is enough for me.
I fall now as the bullet his my back.
I smile as the world goes black.
I can no longer postpone the fact that I'm going to die.
I have to hurry, have to leave my mark.
Before I must surrender to that everlasting dark

Fullmetal Alchemist:Bond
"Al!Alphonse stop...don't do this!"Ed yelled as he watched his brother fling open the door and begin to run out into the street..farther and farther away he ran.Ed slunk to the floor,"how could I....why did I..."he ask himself.Only a moment ago they had been argueing...he remembered it was his own fault..it was always his fault..always.He rested his head against the wall and he almost cried,God in heaven knew he wanted to.He couldn't believe he let himself say something like that to Al.Ed looked up at the window above him to see the snow was falling again outside to recover the already existing snow that blanketed the streets. He didn't think

Automail
"Does it hurt?" Soothing hands moved over the cool metal.
A shrug. "No more than usual."
Alphonse's lips turned down in a pout, "I'll get the ointment." He rose from the edge of the couch and moved to the drawer of the room's desk. He riffled through a few things, finally pulling out a long blue tube. "Hmm, I'll have to tell Winry we're running out." He resettled himself next to his scowling brother.
Tentative hands, once full of the ointment, began working into Edward's automail shoulder. Al's eyebrows knitted together as he rubbed into the tense junction between shoulder and metal, slowly his mind began to wonder. Was his brother always

Belief
"Brother, do you believe in God..?"
"Why should I?"
"But... what about all those unanswered questions? Like, why are we here? Where do we go when we die..?"
"Al, what's got you so philisophical all of the sudden?"
"I've just been... thinking. A lot actually... Brother, I'm alive- aren't I?"
"Of course you are Al! Why would you ever think that you weren't?"
"Because if I'm alive- it mean's I can die."
"Yeah Al... you can die..."
"Brother, you never really answered my question."
"No Al, I don't belive in god."
"Why?"
"Al, if there was a god- or even justice in the world- none of this would have happened. It's all just chance. In a bi

Heh-heh I’m really proud of this poem. My LA teacher asked us to do 14 lines of heroic couplets on a journey in our LA journals while we were reading the Canterbury tales. anyhoo there wasn’t any good subject manner in my life I felt like doing. So I went to my default, FMA. The most obvious choice was the Elric brother’s journey but I had done something on that before... so I decided to do Hei... I went beyond 14 lines though. It was great because when we were reading them the girl before me had this really happy optimistic simplistic poem, then I come up and... Yeah, you can imagine.
